That’s the amount that marketing agency Tinuiti plans to spend this year in advertising for their clients. And they plan to spend 39% more on Facebook this year than last.
The increase is in part because Facebook’s costs have risen, but also because despite the poor news of late, people still engage with social media (including Facebook) the same.

As we edge ourselves out of the Covid pandemic, a lot has changed. (I feel like we will be saying this for awhile.) A recent study from Barkley in Kansas City reports that companies are in a position to miss the boat on being engaged in their community.
ESG. The growing field of Environmental, Social, and Governance awareness is going to be vital to the success of companies in the short- and long-term. A report from Accenture makes it crystal clear: “A full 50% of consumers say that the pandemic caused them to rethink their personal purpose and re-evaluate what’s important to them in life. Forty-two percent say the pandemic made them realize they need to focus on others more than themselves.”
People have always cared, but now the data is clear: They really care. And you have to as well.
